Vision

A world where Palestinians are recognized not only for their struggles but also for their inherent human rights, resilience, achievements and dignity.

Mission

We aim to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for graduate students, faculty, and staff to express their thoughts, ideas, feelings, and fears about Palestine and its current realities, fostering a community grounded in empathy, understanding, and action.

Goals

1.      Community Building and Support:

Establish a dynamic, year-round community coalition that serves as a constant source of support, solidarity, and advocacy for the Palestinian cause. This coalition will provide an open platform for dialogue, emotional expression, and collective in action, ensuring that the conversation around Palestine is sustained and impactful.

2.      Advocacy and Awareness:

Build a robust network of advocates dedicated to promoting the cause of humanity in Palestine. Through collaboration with like-minded individuals and organizations, we will amplify the voices of Palestinians, highlight their achievements, and challenge the narratives that dehumanize them.

Workshops and Initiatives:

Psychological Workshops: Offer workshops that address the emotional and psychological toll because of the situation in Palestine on individuals within our community. These sessions will provide a safe environment for participants to explore their feelings, cope with trauma, and support each other in a collective healing process.

Historical Context and Education: Conduct educational workshops that delve into the historical facts surrounding Palestine, exploring the roots of the conflict and providing a comprehensive understanding of the ongoing struggle. These sessions will empower participants with the knowledge to engage in informed discussions and advocacy efforts among their communities and environments.

  • Celebrating Palestinian Achievements: Organize workshops and events that showcase the rich cultural heritage, resilience, and accomplishments of the Palestinian people. By highlighting their contributions to various fields, we aim to humanize the narrative around Palestine, fostering a deeper appreciation of their identity and struggles.

"For Palestine" is committed to fostering a community of informed, compassionate individuals who are united in their support for Palestine and dedicated to advocating for justice, peace, and humanity.
